June 1995 for the cause of distressed and destitute
animals.
The society believes that every animal has a right to live and should not be treated as a consumable. The society adheres to it and the law proclaims it.
Our fellow creatures , the quadruped have a pathetic story to narrate. Their enchainment, their tearful eyes, their physique and their plight need much to heard other than the sounds they make. The slaughter houses and the herd of tethered cattle who unwillingly die, nay butchered , so that we may live , portray the ghastly metamorphosis of our time. None is there to pay heed to their mournful cries.
Despite their ghastly picture yet there is a ray of hope for them. There are some good faces in the crowd and others may emerge , who show concern towards God's "tenderness". They leave no nerve unstrained to exhibit their "human" qualities to fight for their cause.
It is pathetic but true that our
attitude towards the helpless creature of God has metamorphosed
our domestic environment. One often forgets that love begets love. How happy an
animal feels when it is lovingly stroked or patted by God's most powerful and
rational creature but mostly "HE" does otherwise. What has man
done to man! The cruelly and unconcern towards animals has made way to cruelly ,hatred , jealousy and treachery responsible for
their plight. Its is ironical
that the child who lovingly strokes and pats the animal and breaks into ecstatic
laughter reaps through the bones of it and devours its flesh ignoring its
imploring cries if we show love towards the animal this virtue will be inculcated
and nurtured in our family which will not only make our family happy but also
make the world a better place to live in.
