Activities of the society

Society intends to work in the field of welfare & protection of environment and prevention of cruelty to animals by providing shelter to the destitute , injured animals , providing treatment facilities to the strayed , disabled and injured animals, conducting various programmes in the field of animal birth control under the supervision of Animal Welfare Board. Conducting various programmes for creating awareness among the public by organizing lectures ,seminars,workshops,etc.in schools, colleges and other forums and to spread the message of Animal Welfare throgh various media like televisions, films, hoardings posters, stickers, pamphlets etc.
As the society is in the infant stage, assistance is required to undertake the above mentioned activities for providing the following facilities.

1.AWARENESS: the society intends to undertake awareness programmes in big way, through televisions, films, hoardings posters, stickers, pamphlets etc.
2. SHELTER FOR ANIMALS: a shelter house is necessary for keeping destitute and injured animals, where they can be provided necessary treatment and food. An area of about 5 acres is required for constructing a shed having all these facilities for providing treatment and food.
3.TREATMENT:to provide well established veterinary hospitals for treatment of destitute and injured animals and facility for undertaking operations for animal birth control programme particularly of stray dogs with the objective of reducing the population of stray dogs and hazards to the public in general.
